Q3 spending on lobbying climbs for many groups

U.S. Chamber nears $100 million mark in spending since Jan. 1; Realtors post another $10 million quarter Some of the biggest players in Washington and beyond kicked up their lobbying efforts in the third quarter. A preliminary analysis by CEO Update shows an overall increase in spending—perhaps 10 percent or more—among groups that reported expenses of at least $500,000 from July through September.
